Improvement of research and innovation skills in Mongolian Universities ERASMUS+ARROW project co-funded by European Union

         The wider objective of the ARROW project is to contribute to the promotion and strengthening of the capacity building of scientific writing skills and results visibility in Mongolian Universities belonging to the Consortium. ARROW will provide to the consortium Mongolian Universities enough tools to increase the visibility and rates of scientific production in terms of better scientific manuscripts and patents. ARROW not only will give the tools, trough out the Problem-Solving workshop Mongolian partners scientist will learn how to use its in order to improve the quality of their own manuscripts, but definitely the big heritage of ARROW will be the mentor scientist webpage, where prestige scientist around the world will help altruistically to improve the manuscripts of scientists in developing countries.

The main 7 modules are an increase in the quantity and quality of scientific manuscripts and patents of Mongolian partners. ERASMUS+ARROW project is available for three years in 2018-2021 and the following 7 modules will be empowered to train 15 researchers from each of Mongolia's universities.

Online Course on scientific database.

The online course on the scientific database was successfully lead from the 1st of November 2018 to the 30th of December 2018 by Malgorzata Guzowska who is a professor of the Department of Econometrics and Statistics of “SZCZECIN” University in Poland. 15 staffs and researchers of Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS) successfully participated and certificates were obtained.

 

Scientific English course.

The academic English course was successfully organized by ARROW-MNUMS team during the 8th of April 2019 and 31st of May 2019. It consists of three main modules and suppliers; “Academic English program based on grammar and writing” by “Jet School of English” center, “Medical English” by Gerelee.B, Head of Department of Foreign Language, Bio-Medicine School, MNUMS and program of “Academic writing skills” by professor Gordon Cichon, honorary professor of School of Information and Communication, MUST were successfully organized on site, respectively.

Online Course on Plagiarism and self-plagiarism.

The online course on Plagiarism and self-plagiarism is leading by professor Inmaculada Galván Sánchez,  Head of Department of Financial and Business, “LAS PALMAS DE GRAN CANARIA” University of Spain from the 1st of October 2019 to 30th of November 2019.  The meeting is organized in order to introduce briefly ERASMUS+ARROW project’s purpose and training for attending 15 teachers and researchers of MNUMS.

 Applied Statistics course.

Onsite course on Applied Statistics was organized by professor Oscar Felgueiras of PORTO University during the 1st – 5th of July 2019 in 5 days. In this course, Dr. Enkh-Oyun.Ts, Suren.O, Arigbukh.E, Tuvshinbayar.N and Gankhuu.G, Ph.D students of MNUMS were participated.

Intermediate meeting in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Team of “LAS PALMAS DE GRAN CANARIA” University of Spain, which is Coordinator of ERASMUS+ARROW project, team of “SZCZECIN” University of Poland, team of “PORTO” University of Portugal, who are partner of project came to Ulaanbaatar city of Mongolia and organized the intermediate meeting with members of the beneficiaries team of 12 Mongolian Universities between the 1st and 7th of July 2019. At this time, they organized Proposal developing workshop and onsite course on applied statistics to project team members of Mongolian universities.

A team of MNUMS that successfully conducts ERASMUS + ARROW projects to improve research and innovation skills in Mongolian universities. The project has been successfully implemented at MNUMS and furthermore training course of Patent and manuscript writing will be held.
