Four English language translators needed for Bio-regions project.   following is the general itinerary of the this year Bio-regions project and we will accept applications and CVs by int.relations.hsum@gmail.com address or room 218, main building of HSUM.  Deadline of the application: Apr 10, 2014.  

1.  Trip 1 (Darhad Valley, Khuvsgul Aimag Trip) a medical translator for the team is needed:

Trip 1 will begin May 11th and will end May 23rd (around 14 days). The BioRegions team will travel to the Khuvsgul Aimag to work with rural communities of Bayanzurch and Renchinlumbe Soums.  We have a team translator.  (number of people)

For trip 1 - Required a medical translator for the team

The person needs to translate for the American doctor that will conduct training sessions for the physicians, bagh doctors and nurses in both of the rural clinics.  Also, there will be a need for translating while the American doctor is examining patients in the rural clinics.

2.  Trip 2 (Orkhon Soum, Bulgan Aimag Trip)

Trip 2 will begin May 28th.  The trip will travel to the Bulgan Aimag and work with the residents of the Orkhon Soum.  We have 3 teams: a health team (physicians and nurses), a business team and an environment/veterinarians team.  We have a translator for the environment/veterinarians team.

For Trip 2 - Required three additional translators:

A. Physician team translator – from May 28th to June 24th The person will translate for the Bioregions doctor and medical student that are part of the health team.  The American doctor will conduct training sessions for the physicians, bagh doctors from the Orkhon clinic and nearby soum clinics.  Also, the American doctor will examine patients at the Orkhon clinic and at the field screenings.

B. Nursing team translator – from May 28th to June 24th The translator will be required to translate for the nursing faculty and the nursing students.  The nursing faculty will conduct training sessions for the nurses from the Orkhon clinic and will assist the nurses in local clinic.

C. Business team translator – from May 28th to June 13th The translator will be required to translate for the business faculty member and the business students.  The business team will discuss ecotourism with the local merchants and the government officials in Orkhon.
