MNUMS Admission Requirements
3.1. Complete Secondary Education or Higher
Applicants are required to have successfully completed secondary education or its equivalent.
3.2. General Entrance Examination Confirmation
Possess a valid confirmation of the General Entrance Examination (EEC) from the Education Evaluation Center (EAC) or an equivalent general education test score from a foreign country recognized by the EAC.
3.3. Meet National Threshold Scores in Required Courses
Demonstrate proficiency by meeting the national threshold score in the essential courses related to the chosen program.
4. Admission Application to MNUMS
Submission of an application for admission to MNUMS is mandatory.
(Please note: The admission procedure is subject to annual updates, potentially leading to changes in the process for each academic year.)
Admission Requirements of Foreign Nationals
8.1. Application Period for Undergraduate Programs
Foreign nationals intending to pursue undergraduate programs must submit their applications online (int.relations@mnums.edu.mn) between April 1st and July 1st annually.
8.2. Required Documentation
Applicants must complete the application form and provide the following documents:
Foreign identity card
Passport or similar identification documentation (valid for over 3 years)
Education level diploma/certificate with an English translation
Evidence of English proficiency (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, etc.) (if the applicant will study in Mongolian, Mongolian language proficiency should be required)
Photo (3.5×4.5, taken within the last 3 months)
Health form: psychiatrist’s evaluation, HIV, HBV, HCV, TPHA, and TB test within the last 3 months
8.3. Application Response
Within 10 working days, a response will be sent to the provided address confirming the application status.
8.4. Required Documents for Registration
Successful applicants must present the following original documents and complete registration 14 days before the academic year start:
Foreign identity card
Passport (valid for over 3 years)
Education level diploma/certificate and grade attachment
Evidence of English or Mongolian Language proficiency (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, etc.)
Photo (3.5×4.5, taken within the last 3 months)
Health form (HIV, HBV, HCV, TPHA, and TB within the last 3 months)
Proof of life, health, and accident insurance (must be covered by Mongolian insurance)
Registration fee payment receipt (as per the current exchange rate of the Bank of Mongolia)
8.5. Confirmation and Class Assignment
Foreign applicants meeting the stipulated requirements will be confirmed and assigned to classes according to the MNUMS President order.
6. Contract for Enrollment
Department of Student Development and Management will execute an enrollment contract with the student admitted to study at MNUMS.
